This report was prepared for the Alcohol Advisory Council of New Zealand (ALAC), the Health Research Council of New Zealand (HRC) and the Public Health Commission (PHC) to bring together and extend the existing fragmented estimates of various aspects of the social consequences of tobacco use and alcohol misuse in New Zealand.
