This report compares the results of regional surveys of drug use carried out in 1990 and 1998. In each survey, random samples of approximately 5000 people aged 15-45 from greater Auckland and the Bay of Plenty were interviewed about their use of alcohol, tobacco, cannabis and other drugs.
